As a service to the citizens of the City of Hurst, the Hurst Police Department offers free vacation house checks. The Hurst Police Department will periodically check the exterior of your home while you are away for a period not exceeding four (4) weeks.  This service helps to deter potential burglars and provides for additional security while your house is unoccupied.

After you have submitted your request it will be reviewed by our personnel and approved or denied. You will receive an email within 2 business days letting you know the status of your request. Call our office at (817) 788-7147 if you do not receive an email from our staff. You may also be contacted for additional information in order for us to better provide your requested service. Requests are only reviewed during normal business hours Monday-Friday.
